SUNY Empire Innovation Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Stony Brook University. Director of BOIL.
PhD in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Pennsylvania, working on diffuse optical imaging with Arjun G. Yodh and Britton Chance. BS and MS in Physics from Middle East Technical University in Ankara.
Teaching includes Biomedical Optics, Optical Imaging, Neurophotonics and Optical Brain Mapping, Medical Imaging, and Research Seminars in Imaging.
